The new 88-cover restaurant from Michelin-starred chef Paul Heathcote required the installation of a Mitsubishi Electric outdoor VRF unit, which was to be situated on the rooftop of the beautiful Grade II listed town hall building. The challenging installation began at 4:30 am in Bolton city centre, to ensure minimal traffic disruption. To position the rooftop unit a crane lift was required, spanning approx 30m high and 20m reach, to allow the unit to be positioned beyond the glass atrium ceiling. Internally the installation included concealed ducted units with colour-coordinated grills to match the theme of ‘The Northern’ restaurant.
