DD Cooling Launches AC and Refrigeration Training Facility

AC and Refrigeration Training Workshop

DD Cooling has built an inhouse training workshop for apprentices and engineers to learn the skills needed to deliver top quality work for all our customers.

Over the past few months, DD Cooling have been working behind the scenes to develop a dedicated, realistic, commercial AC and Refrigeration training area that is designed to support the next generation of DD Cooling’s refrigeration engineers.

The new space has been created carefully to replicate real working environments, allowing apprentices and refrigeration engineers to gain hands on experience in a controlled environment.

Our inhouse training facility Includes:

Purpose built fully operational dual temperature cold room
Complete refrigeration system including controls and pipework
Air conditioning system
Milk cooling tank control console

This investment reflects our ongoing commitment to developing skilled engineers who can deliver high quality AC, commercial refrigeration and cold store installations for all our customers.

By providing apprentices in particular with structured, practical training alongside our experienced engineers, we are ensuring that industry standards are not only met by DD Cooling Ltd but exceeded. The new facility enables apprentices to build confidence, refine their technical skills and better understand safe working practises before undertaking on site projects.

We look forward to welcoming both new apprentices and existing engineers into this purpose built training room to continue their development within the AC and Refrigeration industry.

Here at the flower bowl, we have a state of the art co2 refrigeration system. This system is integral to our business, when there’s a fault with it many of the services we provide are unable to continue. Since the system was installed it has had various technical issues. After lots of back and forth, we decided to go out and see if another company would be able to help us diagnose and rectify these issues. Along came DD Cooling who came highly recommended. Over time they have been able to get the system operating fully and make it reliable, this hasn’t been an easy task. It has been time-consuming and I’m sure head-scratching at times. Now the system has been made reliable they continue to service and maintain the equipment to an excellent standard.
